New WordPress Plugin

We are excited to announce a new version of our WordPress Plugin! We have updated and simplified the interface and added some new functionality as well. Check out “WordPress Integration” under your admin menu on btwb.com to download the plugin and see the full instructions.

How to Install the Plugin

Create a “Member’s Only” section on your website

Our new plugin has the ability to “protect” pages on your website. You’ll be able to take any page or post on your site and restrict access to your member’s only. Below the page/post editor, just select “Protected” and put a checkmark next to your gym name.

When a member of your gym tries to access a protected page on your site, they will be granted access if they are currently logged into BTWB. If they aren’t logged in, they’ll be prompted and then will be given access. Anyone who does not have a BTWB account under your gym will not be able to access the page.

This opens up a lot of possibilities for a gym owner. You can create pages with special content and information for your members. If you don’t publicly post your programming, you can create a protected page and have it pull in your workouts from BTWB automatically.

Add your WODs to your website automatically

Our plugin will let you add your Daily WODs to a page on your site, now with a more user-friendly interface. Once you set up this page, it will automatically update to always show the current day’s workouts. Just set it and forget it. You also have the option to automatically include recent results and/or small leaderboards for each workout.

Add All-Time Workout Leaderboards to your website

Are you tired of constantly having to update the Leaderboards on the walls of your gym? With our plugin, you can easily add Workout Leaderboards to your website for any workouts you want. And with our new “protected pages” feature, you can even keep them private to your members only if you’d like. These leaderboards are always up-to-date and once you set it up you won’t have to worry about it again.

Add Recent Gym Activity to your Website

You can also add a Gym Activity feed to your website. This feed will pull in all of the latest BTWB posts from your members and will keep itself up-to-date automatically. You can give potential members a peek inside your gym, or place this on a member’s only page for your members to keep up with each other.
